SIBL CREEDO: NO CHALLENGE IS TO BIG WE CAN'T ACCOMPLISH TOGETHER. 

 

     My name Is Randall Cheeseborough I am currently an IAABO official for Bronx and Manhattan currently residing  in Stratford Ct.  .I am also a Credentialed Alcohol and Subsance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) in the state of NY and CAC in CT and I love the game of basketball.  

     I was a high school  and 1 year collegiate basketball player and still  an avid fan of the game. I  began Officiating in 2003 and became IAABO Certified in 2013 with Board 42 for Bronx and Manhattan area.

     SIBL started out as a summer tournament for Therapeutic Communities and Outpatient Programs in New York in 2014. There are 6 teams from the most prestigious programs,  that assist individual with finding a better way of living without the use of drugs and alcohol and improve their quality of life. 

   This year I have decided to add SIBL YOUTH to enhance the same qualities and positive atmosphere for our Fairfield Counties youth.

     I will provide an annual event for YOUTH to enjoy activities outside of their DAILY ROUTINE, and learn to socialize without the use of violence, profanity, and illicit substances.  It will also give them an opportunity to learn comradery, bond, and grow relationships among themselves outside of their daily routines, with their peers and work together to become winners.

      I will also hold ½ hour substance abuse prevention sessions,  to inform them of the dangers of substance abuse and the consequences that come with it. I will have guest speakers ,  and current  recovering individuals to assist with this endeavor.
